This blog post is based on content from episode 1 of the “Hello, Adventurers!” podcast
Hello, all adventurers out there! We got some thrilling news for all tabletop roleplaying enthusiasts, especially Dungeons and Dragons lovers. Our new podcast is just on the horizon - aptly named “Hello Adventures."
Hosted by our seasoned audio engineer, Jason Portizo, together with Jim Crocker and Joe McCall, "Hello Adventures" is an exciting source of information, camaraderie, and adventure. Let's delve a little deeper into what this podcast entails.
Meet the Hosts: Jason, Jim, and Joe
"Hello Adventures" is a trio of Jason, Jim, and Joe. They are long-time friends and passionate D&D enthusiasts who are pooling their years of gaming experience into the podcast.
Jason's audio engineering passion led him to create podcasts, starting with interviews of local bands. He relished in the excitement of live audio production and explored podcast editing professionally. His previous work, Curmudgeons and Dragons, spanned 113 episodes and forms the base of his expertise in the D&D podcasting scene.
Jim, also a host on Curmudgeons and Dragons, contributed his professional background in running comic and game stores for over two decades. His experiences bring a whole lot of insights, making him a wonderful addition to the podcast. Jim's acquaintance with the indie game scene adds another fascinating layer to the podcast's content.
Next is Joe, an ardent D & D fan and multi-talented addition to the team. Having online games with his then 13-year-old son re-ignited Joe's love for the game. His preference for excitement and tense scenarios ensures the podcast remains lively and engaging.
The Essence: Roleplaying, Conversations, and More
The "Hello Adventures' podcast doesn't pent itself in a box. Sure, D&D is the focus, but other role-playing games also have their spot - and that’s only the start. The podcast doesn’t shy away from discussing game mechanics, player techniques, campaign strategies, and all things D&D.
More than just a conversation on gameplay, the podcast also offers a glimpse into the host's personal gaming experiences, inadvertently painting a larger picture of what it's like to be part of the active D&D community.
Involvement: You're Invited!
